Aaron Gruenberg, President and Sr. Craftsman, first renovated houses during vacations from high school, where he studied industrial arts. He earned a BA from Antioch College and an MFA from Brooklyn College. After administering cultural institutions and constructing museum exhibits, Aaron established Green Mountain in 2001.

Initial Consultations: Complementary site visits are usually scheduled at 7:30 PM, Monday – Thursday evenings.

Estimates: describe work in detail, are complimentary, available on request. Reasonable charges may apply for floor plans and elevations.

Contracts: in plain language, with consumer protections, are signed by
both parties.

Insurance: certificates issued on request of property owners including General Commercial Liability and Workers Compensation.

License: GMC & D, Inc. (Green Mountain) is licensed by the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs, Home Improvement Contractor 1130473. President and Sr. Craftsman, Aaron Gruenberg is also Licensed Home Improvement Salesperson, 1058419.

Shop Drawings: floor plans and elevations to scale, by hand, on Mylar, clarify and develop design with client and guide construction. Drawings and contracts are signed by both parties.
