Established in 2001 in Brooklyn, NY, Spa Tile is operated by GMC & D, Inc. of Schenectady.  In 2016 we assumed the new business name (DBA), Spa Tile, and moved our service area to the Hudson and Mohawk Valleys.  We serve the New York State's Capital District and the Adirondack, Berkshire, Catskill and Green Mountains.  GMC & D is also known as Green Mountain Construction & Design.  We no longer serve New York City.

We offer quality materials, long-lasting installations, sustainable renovations, ethical contracting, direct communication between home owner and contractor, and aesthetic value.

Estimates and Site visits are suspended during an extensive Mohawk Valley renovation in 2016.  Aaron is available for technical consultations regarding tile, showers, baths, and vestibules. Click on contact above.

License: GMC & D, Inc. is licensed by the NYC Dept of Consumer Affairs, Home Improvement Contractor 1130473. President and Sr. Craftsman, Aaron Gruenberg is also Licensed Home Improvement Salesperson, 1058419.

Shop Drawings, floor plans and elevations drawn to scale, by hand, on Mylar, clarify and develop design with client and guide construction. Upon agreement, drawings and contracts are signed by both parties.  Reasonable charges may apply for drawings and related consultations.

Materials:  We provide most rough materials and include them in our estimates.  Clients may purchase finished materials through us from our selected specialty suppliers and local showrooms at competitive retail prices.  Fixtures, tile, stone and glass, are specified in contracts and change orders as part of a collaborative design process.
